English level four.

Hello classmates! Today is the final blog and is time to say good bye.

This semester I will finish all my English’s classes.   I had three English’s courses (level: 2, 3 and 4) in these four years of university´s studies. These English’s lessons helped me because I learn important things about this language.

When, I take the first course, I didn´t like learn anything about English. I said: “I hate this language, I don´t want learn this.” But, today I think that I was so wrong because is very important to me, like professional, know about English.  

When, I take the course level four, this semester. I was so much nervous because I thought that this level was so much difficult, I had scare because I thought that the teachers on this level are mean and very exigent. But I was wrong, again. This course isn´t a piece of cake but is much easy than I thought and my teacher is kind and she teach us with patient.

In this level I learned a lot of things and I finally understood the real importance of English and I think that it is the first step to become a bilingual person (it is a big goal, but I can dream).

Although, I had taken three English’s courses, I need improve a lot of things! I need improve my vocabulary and my pronunciation because I have an important issue with my pronunciation.  I would take more English’s lesson to improve these things and I would study English on a foreign country.

Outside the class, I use my English sometimes, for example, when my nephew need help to study English or when I need translate some sing of English artist. I try to use my English very day to improve every day, too.

My first job

Hello classmate! Today I am going to talk about my future job. 

When, I have a psychological degree, I think take a specialization on forensic psychology.  I will take postgraduates studies on my university or in other prestigious university.  I think taking one graduates study on abroad.  My dream is have a postgraduate degree.

I hope have my first job on an important institution, one institution that is works with victims or convicted persons. These institutions are few in my country. With a job like this I could help to people and I could make several psychological interventions.

For me, a good job should have some characteristics like: good working conditions, good work climate and opportunities to learn and to grow up. But one job with all of this characteristics is utopian because none job is so good. I hope have a utopian job.

Well, I think that my strengths are related with knowledge about this kind of psychology and I think that I have qualities to work in this field. But, the more important is that I really want to work in this field. I want to learn all about it I want become an expert on this area.

My weaknesses are my inexperienced because I should have a lot of experience about this kind of job; the unique experience that I have, I got through books. Other weakness is that I am very sensitive person and this characteristic could to prejudice me because in this field of psychology, we see a lot of people with big problems.

I hope have a job in this field to be happy and to do a lot of things that I want.

The money

Hello classmates! Today I am going to talk about a topic, loved for ones and hated for others: The money.

Well, the money is a problem for me because I would like living without money but in this society this situation is impossible.  In this materialistic society the person with more money have more opportunities in the life and I think that is a horrible reality. As is impossible change this reality in one day, we are obliged to win own money to living.

I spend my money in necessary things; I spend money to buy food, to pay the public transport or to buy a lot of photocopies.  I don´t have a lot of expenses but this situation will change when I will be living without my parents.

I am an expert to manage my budget, I spend money only when I can, never I spend money in unnecessary things but sometimes I save money to buy something special to me.  

If I were a millionaire I would like invest in different things, I could invest in social projects or in privates business; I would like do a lot of thing with my money. I would like be a millionaire concerned about vulnerable people.

I would prefer sell something that pawn it. I would sell anything unnecessary like jewelries or anything like that.  I prefer sell that pawn because I think when we pawn something we get less money for it. And I don´t understand why so much people pawn their things.

A green person

I have learnt environmentally friendly practices with my brother because he studied environmental engineering.  He has a big concern for the environment.

I always try to recycle my litter, and in my house everybody have a special concern with our garbage. About this, my mom makes your own compost with food waste.

Generally, I don´t use a bike as a transport because I use the public transport but I use my legs too. I really like walking.

I support to Greenpeace but my support aren´t economic. Sometimes the organization sends me e- mails to sign and to support any environmental cause in my country.  I think that my contribution is little but isn´t less important.  

I want that my country have other environmental policy. I would like make conscience on the people and I would like teach to people about the importance of to care the environment.

My brother is an expert to measure carbon footprint but He never has calculated our carbon footprint. However, I think that our environmentally friendly practices contribute to reduce our carbon footprint. Our environmentally friendly practices are: to reduce our energetic consume, to recycle (paper, metal and plastic), to make compost, to reduce our water consume, etc.

In our society missing environmental education and environmental conscience because the people don´t think in the damage caused to our planet. They think that our planet is eternal but isn´t.

In Santiago we have an awful pollution and our city is not a great place to living, the citizens have a lot of health problems for this pollution. Santiago don´t have any useful measure to avoid this critical situation of contamination.
